Hebridean Inspiration

I have spent the last four weeks at home in North Uist traveling around each day sketching and taking images of the endless sources of inspiration. Coming home every summer is definitely the highlight of my year. The ever changing light and vast untamed landscapes are always inviting. Spending the rest of my year working from my studio in Dundee, these trips are always vital for new inspiration to take home to my studio. This year has been filled with colour and mood. Take a look at some of my inspiration whilst traveling around Uist. I often sit amongst the rocks and sketch my immediate surroundings, listening to the sea roll in and out.
